Chapter events are scheduled throughout the year, including:

  • Monthly luncheons – Regularly scheduled on the second Thursday of each month.
  • Annual golf outing – Regularly schedule early to mid-September.
  • Annual Holiday party – Regularly scheduled in December.
  • Leadership Conference/Women In Security – Regularly scheduled in the spring.

Event registration for ASIS MN Chapter 25 events is through our website. Those wishing to register for ASIS International events, such as webinars or the Annual Seminar and Exhibits conference may do so through the ASIS International website www.asisonline.org/Education-Events. Please note that to be a member of the ASIS MN Chapter 25, you also need to be a current member in good standing with ASIS International.

    TOPIC: Enterprise Security Risk Management - Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM) has been an emerging topic in the industry over the past year. UTAS would like to deliver a presentation and forum discussion on the implementation of ESRM; including identified benefits, initial lessons learned, current progress and identified challenges.

     Speakers: Jon Harris, CPP, PSP - Emily Stroud, FSP, BCP -Nathan Olson - Brandon Beyl 

    Bios:

    Jon Harris is the Associate Director – Security, Property & International Trade Compliance for the Sensors & Integrated Systems (SIS) business unit of UTC Aerospace Systems. He has been with UTC since 2011, starting as a Site Security Manager for the Rosemount Aerospace business in Burnsville, MN and has taken positions of increased responsibility prior to moving into his current role. Prior to joining UTC, Jon worked as an Account Manager for a leading Security Officer service provider.

    Emily Stroud is the FSO and BCP Lead for Rosemount Aerospace, Inc., under the UTC Aerospace Systems business unit. She started as an intern in the Security Department just prior to completing her undergraduate degree in early 2014. Since that time, she has filled roles as Security Analyst, Property Administrator, and Physical Security Supervisor, as well. 

    Nathan Olsen is the Manager- Enterprise Security & Risk Management for the Sensors & Integrated Systems (SIS) business unit of UTC Aerospace Systems. He has been with UTC since 2012, starting as a Site Security Manager for the Rosemount Aerospace business in Burnsville, MN and has taken positions of increased responsibility prior to moving into his current role. Prior to joining UTC, Nate worked as an Account Manager for a leading Security Officer Service provider, and was in the Security Department at another Industry Defense Contractor prior to that.

    Brandon Beyl is the Facility Control Official for AMFMS. He has been working for UTC since 2012 beginning his career as a proprietary Security Officer. In 2015 he was promoted to Physical Security Supervisor and is currently serving in this capacity. Brandon is also pursuing his certification as a Facility Security Officer (FSO).
