ASIS International is the leading organization for security professionals worldwide. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests, such as the ASIS International Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics. ASIS also advocates the role and value of the security management profession to business, the media, government entities and the public. By providing members and the security community with access to a full range of programs and services, and by publishing the industry’s No. 1 magazine—Security Management—ASIS leads the way for advanced and improved security performance.
ASIS MN supports the goals and programs of the international organization through our chapter meetings, educational programs and events. To our 300-regional members we offer professional development, information on local and national trends and personal connections through monthly lunch meetings, which often include presentations by recognized security industry experts.
Our annual Holiday party and golf outing provide a relaxed setting for networking and “catching-up” with other security professionals and vendors. The Chapter also sponsors focused groups for Young Professionals and Women In Security, plus opportunities to participate in charitable events.
The ASIS MN chapter is a resource for public and private sector security professionals working in manufacturing, education, healthcare, real estate, property management and government, financial, utilities, along with current and former law enforcement representation. Membership is open to all security professionals and those whose responsibilities include security management.
